Each pale orange, cylindrical, biplanar, scored, bevelled tablet, with “ROCHE” over “0.5” on one side, crossed out on the other, contains clonazepam 0.5 mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: corn starch, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, lactose, magnesium stearate, potato starch and talc. Gluten, paraben, sodium, sulfite and tartrazine free.

Each white, cylindrical, biplanar, scored, bevelled tablet, with “ROCHE” over “2” on one side, crossed on the other, contains clonazepam 2 mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: corn starch, lactose, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. Gluten, paraben, sodium, sulfite and tartrazine free.

How should I use this medicine?
The dose of clonazepam is determined by the amount required to control seizures and varies from person to person. It is important that the dose is adjusted to your specific needs to avoid reduced coordination or excessive drowsiness.

The recommended starting dose of clonazepam in adults should not exceed 1.5 mg per day in 3 divided doses. This helps minimize drowsiness and other side effects. Your doctor will gradually increase the dose until your seizures are controlled.

Clonazepam can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking this medicine as it may increase the levels of clonazepam in your blood.

Who should NOT take this medicine?
Do not use clonazepam if you:

are allergic to clonazepam or some of the ingredients in the medicine
have had an allergic reaction to another benzodiazepine (eg lorazepam, diazepam, oxazepam)
have acute narrow or closed angle glaucoma
have myasthenia gravis
have severe breathing problems
have severe liver disease
have sleep
